Operation System & Support Manager
Responsibilities:

To develop and manage the overall day-to-day operations of the company OSS Operations supervision of the overall OSS Team. |
°
|
Making sure all company OSS Systems are in the highest availability. |
°
|
Manage and making sure all projects implementation are coordinated and within the timelines and budgets. |
°
|
Responsible to coordinate and define activities related to network care. |
°
|
Responsible to define responsibilities and follow their performance. |
°
|
Builds and maintain relationships with peers, associates, and representatives internal and external to the organization. |
°
|
Prepare network daily, weekly monthly report. |
°
|
Coordinates training requirements / implementation. |
°
|
Monitors process results M&P's, maintenance and routines. |
°
|
Identifies staff imbalance, recommends solutions and implements changes as appropriate using current corporate guidelines and labor. |
°
|
Manages the allocation of necessary resources (staff, tools, equipment, etc). |
Requirements:
°
|
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science / IT or equivalent. |
°
|
At least 6 year - 8 yrs working experience in OSS Environment. |
°
|
Any of the Professional Certification is a plus point and will be given priorities : CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, MCP, MCSE, RHCE, CNE,. |
°
|
ITIL Certification is a must. |
°
|
Familiar with : any NMS and Performance Management Tools : Solarwinds, OPManager, HP OpenView, IBM Netcool, IBM Proviso, CA Spectrum/E-Health, OSI NetExpert, EMC SMART, Applications Manager, Netflow Traffic Analyzer, Network Configuration Management. |

Familiar with: any industry widely used Ticketing System / Service Desk. |
°
|
Familiar with : any of the following Operating System: Windows 2000, 2003, Redhat Linux, SUN Solaris. |
°
|
Familiar with: IP v4/v6m DNS/DHCP, Proxy and Firewall Configuration. |
°
|
Exposed to any of the following Management Protocol : SNMP, MIB, OID, COBRA, JMS/XML, Q3, SOAP. |
°
|
Technical background in IT / Telecommunication's 2G / 3G / WIFI / WIMAX Technologies are added advantages and will be given priorities. |
°
|
Excellent Oral and Writing in English and have a very firm decision making. |
